French Design: Guillerme & Chambron Coffee Table in Oak, c 1960's

This coffee table was designed by the iconic French design duo Guillerme et Chambron. The high quality and distinctive skeletal open frame construction features simple and dynamic diagonals and planes.

The frame is made of beautifully waxed solid oak. The peg inserts at the legs’ base, are functional and add a beautiful detailed touch to the table’s overall appearance. The combined simple hardwood top and base hold great patina and is a beautiful offset to upholstery. The railed shelf below offers an opportunity for additional storage and layering.

The combined attributes of this poised but easy-going form exemplify the designers' cultivated aesthetic for their post war brand “Votre Maison".
