This set of six informal dining chairs are coveted Audoux Minet classics. Made of beechwood with the design duo's signature hemp rope, the easygoing style of this set has the perfect South of France attitude.

The chairs are beautifully proportioned. Simply yet skillfully detailed, the chairs have a graduated vertical rail that supports the woven backrest. Their light color and open weave gives them an approachable breezy feel, a perfect note of stylish informality.

These set has been carefully cleaned in a manner that retains a desirable patina then freshly polished by our expert finisher in New York City. The rope is original and in good vintage condition with some fading and light fraying that has occurred over the years. The frames are all in stable condition.

Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet were French modernists who worked in Provence in the 1940's and 1950's. Their rope furniture is well known by design lovers the world over.
